On Friday the twelfth of August I was lucky enough to be Principal for a Day. The experience involved meetings, speeches, showing new kids around and wrangling up naughty students like Elizabeth Mulligan when we swapped places which was really fun. I really enjoyed the whole experience but my favourite thing to do was showing the new families around the school. I felt as though this experience will help me in the future if I ever become a teacher. The process was tough. I had to write a letter on why I wanted to be principal, including two written referee pages and then I went through to an interview round with Mrs Mulligan, Mrs Stockton and Mr Harry. When I found out that I got it I was ecstatic. I knew it would be a big responsibility but I was happy to take on the challenge as best I could. Over all I had an awesome day and learnt so much.
