Currently showing at the Glasshouse Port Macquarie Regional Art Gallery is the art exhibition Northern Exposure 5. This exhibition is a celebration of the current visual arts practice within the region. A total of 60 artworks were selected by an expert panel to be included in this exhibition, which includes one of the four NAIDOC weavings created in 2017 by K- 6 of Bellingen Public students.
The Acting Gallery Curator, Bridget Purtill states in the exhibition brochure:
Northern Exposure is open to all artists on the Mid North Coast and this year the exhibition showcases 60 artists and this year we also have a school group from Bellingen Public school who has entered a collaborative work that we are really excited about.
If you are visiting Port Macquarie before the exhibition closes on 9 September, take the time to visit the exhibition. Congratulations to Bellingen Public school!
