If cancelled a message will be sent out to your mobile phones by 9am on the Friday. An alternate time for the game will be organised if Friday does not go ahead. Year 3 & 4 students in the BPS choir will have the opportunity to perform at the Compass Music Festival in Woolgoolga on Monday, 3rd June 2024. This is a whold day event - students will rehearse during the day and perform at 7pm in the evening. Students will travel by bus to Wiigulga Sports Complex in the morning and must be picked up by parents in the afternoon. Pleae see the attached note for complete details.

Netball NSW Gala Competition. We will be competing at Macksville Valley Netball Association, Macksville Netball courts, depending on advice of court suitability, on Tuesday the 5th of June 2024. Miss Byrne and Miss Pitt will be supervising students at the event, but students will require private transport to attend. Students need to return notes ASAP to avoid missing out on this opportunity, as there are limited numbers. Priority will be given to notes and payments returned first. Please see the attached note for complete details.

Great Aussie Bush Camp Year 5 Excursion

This year, all Year 5 students will attend an excursion to The Great Aussie Bush Camp at Tea Gardens from Wednesday, 19th June, to Friday, 21st June 2024. They will be participating in a 3-day Outdoor Education program. A visit to the Great Aussie Bush Camp is an opportunity for students to learn new skills, develop closer relationships with peers, and be provided with new and exciting experiences that improve their resilience and self-esteem. Students will be participating in a variety of outdoor activities from the following categories: heights, aquatic, bush, and recreation. The estimated cost of this excursion is $390.00, although this initial cost may change once numbers have been confirmed. This price covers transport to and from the venue, instructors, accommodation, and all food, apart from lunch on Wednesday. If you wish your child to attend, please complete the expression of interest and return it with a $50 non-refundable deposit by Friday, 23rd February 2024. The final payment is due Friday, 31st May 2024. To assist families with the cost of the excursion, an application for school assistance can be made via an appointment with the Principal. Please contact the office to arrange. Periodic payments can be made throughout the year to assist families with budgeting.

Year 4 Yarra Adventure Park Camp

This year, all Year 4 students will attend an excursion to Yarra Adventure Park at Grassy Head from Tuesday 10th September, to Thursday 12th September 2024 (Week 8 Term 3). They will be participating in a 3-day Outdoor Adventure Education program. The excursion involves staying for two nights at the park and participating in a variety of adventure activities that provide a fun and challenging experience for students. It provides the opportunity for them to learn new skills, foster collaboration and build trust with their peers. The estimated cost of this excursion is $358.00, although this initial cost may change once numbers have been confirmed. This price covers transport to and from the venue, instructors, accommodation, and all food, apart from morning tea on Tuesday. An information session for families will be held in Term 3. If you wish your child to attend, please complete the expression of interest and return it with a $50 non-refundable deposit by Thursday 11th April 2024. The final payment is due Friday 9th August 2024. See attached note for further details.
